Les ambassades de France et d’Allemagne soutiennent le “Kekalove Adaptive Fashion Show”
The German and the French embassies in Azerbaïjan are happy to announce their support to “Kekalove Adaptive Fashion Show”. This event, that will take place at the residence of the German Ambassador on the 11th of May, is dedicated to Fashion creativity, and aims at promoting a more inclusive society for people with disabilities.
The German and French governments are committed to addressing the needs of people with disabilities to ensure they enjoy access to education, job opportunities, sport, culture and leisure. This concerns also specific measures to adapt our urban environment and our work environment, be it in Germany, in France, in Europe and in Azerbaijan.
There is no shame at all in having a disability and it makes no difference in terms of human rights and dignity. We aim at giving people with disabilities access to a more inclusive society where they have the opportunity to show that they can perform at the highest level at work, or in art, or in sport, or in any other activity.
Therefore, we are happy to support this event which we are convinced can contribute to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities by designing elegant and adaptive garments addressing their needs. Importantly, the show can also help change the public perception of people with disabilities in promoting them as Fashion professionals.
